FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH — Pioneer Home Ministry
As a church, on the first Thursday of each month, we go to the Anchorage Pioneer Home to conduct a service of singing hymns, a message, and communion. If you would like to join us in this ministry, please come to the Pioneer Home at 9:30 a.m. It is located at 923 West 11th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501. For more information, please contact the church office at 272-6411.

FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTHCommunion
On the first Sunday of each month we usually serve communion. This may change, depending upon circumstances. We usually serve by intinction, where each person takes a piece of bread and dips it in the communal cup. We also serve gluten-free bread.

EVERY MONDAY NIGHT — Emergency Cold Weather Shelter
Every Monday night from October to the end of April, we operate the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter at FPC. We provide accommodation, food, warmth and safety to homeless families that have nowhere else to stay. These families are referred to us by AWAIC. On a very few nights, no-one needs the shelter; but we have housed up to 18 people on some nights.

A team of three or four volunteers from FPC stays the night. In addition, other volunteers provide food, do laundry, and provide other much-needed support. If you would like to be involved, please contact the church office at 272-6411.

FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE MONTHF.I.S.H. Sunday
On the fourth Sunday of each month, FPC bags rice and oatmeal for F.I.S.H., and brings pasta to donate to the agency. Our goal is to donate at least 60 pounds of pasta each month. Bring your pasta ad plan to hlp with the bagging of rice and oatmeal following worhip in the Fellowship Hall. F.I.S.H. (Fellowship In Serving Humanity) delivers emergency food aid to people in need in Anchorage; responding to a call for help through a network of volunteers.
