Organ Recital
Celebrating our New Memorial Organ

Alton, Illinois, organist Gaye Anderson presented a concert on our new Viscount Organ on Friday, May 4th at 7:30 pm.

As you know, the church's memorial organ was refurbished and modernized over winter. Many new voices were added and revised electronics and a new console were installed. You have probably heard some of the new features during services.

Gaye Anderson is the Organist and Choirmaster at the Episcopal Parish of St. Paul in Alton, Illinois. Gaye holds a Masters degree in Organ Performance from Webster University in St., Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Music Education degree with an emphasis on Piano Performance from Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois. She continues organ studies with Canon Precenter, Dr. William "Pat" Partiridge at Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis, MO.

The memorial organ is a generous gift of music that we can pass on to future generations.
